Gold award for conference customer satisfaction

The Westerwood Hotel & Golf Resort, near Glasgow, part of award-winning hotel group QHotels, is celebrating this week after being one of only two venues in Scotland to be awarded the highly acclaimed ‘VenueVerdict Gold Standard Accreditation’ by BDRC Continental, the UK’s largest independent market research agency.


The accreditation, which covers the calendar year from July 2010 to June 2011, uses the renowned business metric ‘Net Promoter’ to measure the conference customer service experience and recognises that word of mouth is the biggest influencer when it comes to choosing a venue. Every week conference and meeting venues and hotels across the UK are assessed in an independent survey of event organisers and only venues that consistently achieve a Net Promoter Score of 70 or above are awarded the Gold Standard Accreditation. The Westerwood Hotel & Golf Resort is one of only 19 venues in the whole of the UK to attain this score and in Scotland there is only one other venue that has achieved such a high level of customer satisfaction feedback.
