Innovative Incentive Ideas

A new addition to Glasgow's incentive market comes in the shape of Drygate. With its brewers offering to take drinkers on a journey from ‘the everyday to the exceptional’, visitors can now preview Drygate and watch the beginnings of its first on-site brew take place. A panoramic glass wall will allow guests to watch the brewery in action from its bar and kitchen, which opens this week.

By the end of June, there will be the freedom not only to explore, taste and talk about beer at Drygate – but also create your own brew.
Groups and individuals will be able to book their place on the Drygate Studio Kit, which will allow them to experiment with making their own beers.
Drygate also offers a 24-tap beer hall, an elevated beer garden, a bottle shop, a multifunctional venue / gallery space and a craft beer-inspired menu.


Meanwhile, Scotland’s most popular distillery, The Famous Grouse Experience at The Glenturret Distillery in Crieff, has recently completed a £250,000 investment in its key visitor areas and café, ahead of an anticipated surge in visitor numbers for this year’s Ryder Cup.
Scotland’s oldest working distillery was established in 1775 and is home to The Famous Grouse Experience.

The refurbishment programme, the first major upgrade to the facilities since 2007, has seen complete transformations of the visitor café, shop and tasting experiences, as well as the welcome lounge that plays host to 120,000 visitors every year. 

The distillery has opened up a new tasting bar, alongside which there are a series of nosing pods to allow visitors to get much closer to the whisky blending process and identify aromas and ingredients. 

In a year where the eyes of the world will be firmly upon Scotland as the host of the Commonwealth Games in July, and home to the Ryder Cup in September, the facilities for corporate entertainment and private events have also been considerably enhanced with a new facilities for whisky tasting experiences, including The Famous Grouse Suite, extending the distillery’s abilities to accommodate corporate and group business.
