Scotland has been a strong supporter of IMEX for the last nine years and we are delighted to be returning to Frankfurt from 22-24 May to showcase all that Scotland has to offer. As always, we will have a strong range of partners to meet this year including unique venues, conference centres, cities and the all important DMCs.

If you've never been to Scotland before, this is an excellent introduction and overview of the diverse MICE possibilities in Scotland. Simply turn up and join one of the hosted buyer groups.
Calling all participants on previous fam trips to Scotland! Come and enjoy an exclusive Scottish reception with some old friends and find out about new developments in the MICE sector in Scotland on Tuesday 22 May from 16.00. We will be offering the opportunity to learn about and sample the ‘water of life’ with a dedicated whisky tasting. There will be Scottish canapés, with local produce such as oatcakes, cheese and speciality chutneys and cocktails with Scottish gin and Irn Bru. In the Year of Creative Scotland we are asking you to show us your artistic talents in advance with a photo competition to win a signed Colin Prior print. We will be displaying the resulting photos on a dedicated screen and announcing the winner during the reception! To take part email a photo you have taken that you feel captures the essence of Scotland to rebecca.steven@visitscotland.com by Friday 11 May.
Come celebrate the Queen's Diamond Jubilee
Join our celebrations and experience some world famous Scottish hospitality! From 16.00 on Wednesday 23 May we will be joined by "William and Catherine" who famously fell in love in Scotland. Why not try our whisky tour around Scotland, each of the Scottish partners will have a different whisky from the key whisky producing regions to sample, and guests can learn a little about the region and what makes the particular whisky so special. To whet your appetite further, we'll be serving cocktail and canapes with a surprising Scottish twist - a Tartan Trembler anyone?! Our "Royal Family" will also be drawing a prize of a bottle of whisky to take home with you.
