On Thursday 25th March 2010 VisitScotland’s Business Tourism Unit’s central team hosted our Knowing Me Knowing You networking event at Rufflets Country House Hotel.
There was a great atmosphere with 28 local businesses involved in the MICE market coming together to focus on collaborative marketing in Fife. The attendees had the opportunity to hear from Regional Manager Kerry Watson as well as special guest speakers Sarah Grant from VisitScotland's Growth Fund and Rae McGhee and Robin Robertson of Meet in Midlothian, a business tourism collaboration initiative, which has gained support through the growth fund. This was followed by a successful speed networking workshop where venues had the chance to discuss opportunities with suppliers before enjoying a two course sit down lunch and tour of Rufflets one of Scotland’s finest 4 star country house hotels.
