Pick of Perthshire FAM Trip
A group of seven key meeting and incentive planners from across Scotland/North of England were welcomed at The Gleneagles Hotel, at the start of a 3 day visit to Perthshire.
They’re first stop at The Gleneagles Hotel included a gun dog demonstration and falconry display followed by lunch in the hotel. It was then off to Crieff Hydro for some exhilarating activities and not for the faint hearted which included quad biking, off road driving, segway driving and high ropes! Our guests then relaxed in the hotel with a champagne high tea before retreating to the hotels newly refurbished luxury rooms. In the evening the group dined at the award winning Stags View Restaurant at Knock Castle with stunning panoramic views over Strathearn.
The second day included a show round of the Perth Concert Hall followed by a day at Perth Race Course to enjoy the Perth 800 Celebrations. A year long programme of events to celebrate the 800th anniversary of the granting of the Royal Burgh Charter to Perth by King William the Lion of Scotland in 1210. This was the first time a race day had been held on a Saturday at the race course for over 7 yrs. The overnight stay was at the Ramada Perth with dinner at the award winning restaurant Opus One.
The final day in Perthshire included a tour of Scone Palace the original home of the Stone of Destiny and the site of the coronations of the Kings of Scots, followed by a tour and delicious lunch at Murrayshall House Hotel set within 350 acres of undulating parkland.
The Pick of Perthshire fam trip truly offered something for all groups and perfect venues for clients.
