Scotland in Dublin 2010

Image

11th February 2010

VisitScotland’s Business Tourism Unit brought a taste of Scotland to Ireland in February with Scotland in Dublin, the annual networking dinner.  This exclusive event was hosted in conjunction with the British Ambassador Julian King at his residence, Glencairn.
On this special evening, guests mingled with representatives from a selection of some of the finest Scottish venues at this exclusive and prestigious address.  They were offered inspiration for their next event, and the opportunity to discover the diversity and quality that Scotland has to offer incentive and event organisers.
Attendees were welcomed by a bagpiper, dined on a special Scottish menu and were magically entertained after dinner by Max Gordon, Scotland’s answer to Derren Brown!

Feedback from the evening included
"These type of events are very important, a great opportunity to establish new contacts and to touch base with previous suppliers."
"Beautiful house, excellent meal!"
"It would be difficult to improve on the evening."
